Never seen McMahon and the skyline in one shot. Is this part of the Stampede?

For sure the stadium needs some work, and the parking redeveloped into an entertainment district, but I love the look, the size, the shape. If the structure is sound, it's worth a rehab over replacement.

I'm not a believer in these Entertainment Districts sold as part of publicly funded Stadium developments. Such a mixed-use high density community makes more sense by The Stampede grandstand nearby the new arena development than up at McMahon for now. The university and hospital is a prime area for a second city centre. The McMahon block though is an awkward block. There's space to put mixed use blocks on the surface parking but, not enough room on any side to create a neighbourhood. That whole block seems to have developed organically with additional facilities without a masterplan or vision to it. In this sports facility circumstance, a vision would have been favourable

Maybe they confuse the North York area with downtown.

That shot really shows just how much has been built in the last 10-15years and how significant the density is now.
