1620 Main Street | ? | 6 fl | Proposed

This project is the second phase for the building out of CityHousing Hamilton's site at the Queenston Traffic Circle alongside 55 Queenston.

Funding for the affordable housing project has been confirmed but I am not aware of any renders or even existing indications of how many storeys will be involved in the project. CHCH reports there will be 42 units.

Looks jail like with the grey and tiny windows. Is CityHousing saying that is what "those people" deserve?

The parking lots on the east side... have there been any hints at doing something on those in future?

That is still a lot of space.

And yeah, the parking would have to be replaced (either underground or within a podium) but this all seems very wasteful for what is a fairly large area.

We have to show everyone that these people are "poor" people and that they don't deserve pretty buildings. Apparently. Because affordable these days is just code for "poverty-stricken".
