Yes we’d like $7000 a month for that unit, but don’t forget to bring your own paint….and appliances, balcony railing, cabinets, countertops, toilet, and windows.

So this is now the 6th tallest building in the state. How long before it will be officially recognized as such.

By who?

By the way, I actually believe it's the 5th tallest since I've never trusted the height for the Renaissance Tower in Dallas, and have only ever been able to measure it as 856 feet tall versus the 876 feet that often gets published. Even if the 876 foot height is correct, which I don't believe it is, 6 X Guadalupe still has a higher roof. It's sort of hard to tell in Google Earth, and even in real photos, but the roof of the mechanical penthouse is somewhere around 740 feet.

Hey everyone! Decided to finally create an account to share an exciting update... seems like they have smoothed out the exposed concrete. Right side is totally complete. Looks much better IMO!

Wow, that makes a huge difference. I wonder if they're going to do it to the underside of the balconies, as well?

Thanks - that was the best news I've had on this bad boy in months!

Oh, and - yes - welcome to the forum!

That's why you have to wait these things out. The new polished concrete is a MASSIVE improvement.

This one was really worrying me for a while there. They really left off all these finishing touches till the last minute. Vastly improved with the painting of balconies and polishing of concrete. Fingers crossed it continues to improve.

These finishing touches are a real big improvement! I have commented before that I wait for final judgement, until the building is complete, because I have seen over many years that the last finishing touches can upgrade the looks of a building in a huge way. This tower is a classic example of that.
