I wonder if Plank will set up their patio this year. The site plan for that building showed a patio on Augusta. with a waist high perimeter fence.

Let's compare with the original render - looks like the windows they have gone with are slightly different than in.. well that render anyways.

Looks like Plank is getting both a rooftop patio, and street level patio. They're working on them today.

Views from the new build rooftop patio, and a teaser of the rooftop patio for Plank:

Wasn’t aware Plank was getting a rooftop patio. I assume they’ll have one at street level as well.. urban Core is doing some really great stuff here.

Very nice - although I kinda wish there was some sorta 2-tone colour system going on for the one facing james - it's entirely the same colour all throughout.. minor complaint though.

Looks like they cleaned the strap marks off the first floor arches, although the top floor cornice area boxes still look.. like there may be some discoloration.

Hoarding is down. Still no Juliette balconies though. From Core Urban's Instagram

also the roof on the side has some weird cutouts notched into the top of it that I am unsure of what they are.. was studying it while eating at le piazza across the street today.. looking nice - although I am not sure where signage will go on the front..

Once again it's amazing how this building just looks like it's always been here, even before it's finished.. they really have a great way of melting stuff into their surroundings...

Let's get that render on this page for reference:

Just bringing this forward to see thoughts on signage and retail VS residential entrance. Have not been on site, but is the residential lobby to the northernmost side of west side, guessing just one retailer /restaurant envisioned for other entrance.

The julliet balcony railings have been installed. Many doors are open. Some units on the lower floors look finished or almost finished inside at least from my vantage point across the street.

Less "woe" for Romeo.

The building still looks fantastic.

Looks to be something already planned for the commercial space on Augusta: https://instagram.com/ciaobellahamil...RlODBiNWFlZA==

More people downtown will beget more restaurants... which will beget more restaurant-goers (regardless of how "difficult" it is to drive downtown in the future)

Oh thank GOD they didn't just tack them onto the outside - this actually looks really nice - well done core urban *applauds*

You get my simon stamp of approval

and the circle band is lined up perfectly to cover the handles - it really just gives it the final little bit of detail it needs. I am content.
