I was surprised by the massing of new blocks of buildings from "BMO" up to "Salesforce" in the photo above. If you look north or south of that central mass of new buildings, there is a distinct

increase in variable rooftop heights and the skyline seems more intricately diverse. It seems that what might be called near west loop (along the river region) has become a much more massive

wall of blocky blue buildings. No judgement is being made - I'm just surprised at the effect in the photo and wonder at the total increase in square footage. I suppose I'm off-topic, so I'll say I am

looking forward to the effect of 1000 M on the skyline!

They jumped the crane today. Kinda bummed if it's the last one. I hoped it would be a little taller.

I haven't looked at the crane from far to see how high up it is but there are roughly 10-12 more floor slabs yet to complete so there will still be a fair amount of height added to this thing.

Another gauge is that the diagonal line running up the north and south sides will connect with the corner curve at the top of the screenwall, so the glass is at roughly halfway up the tower portion right now.

Pic from the Aon Center. Not great but gives some perspective from this angle north to Millennium Park

Do we know if this building will have a crown lit up at night?

Anyone know how far out to expect them to relaunch the website. I'm interested in actually staying here. It seems the building could top out before July. Possible move ins this winter/spring maybe?

A wile back, I read January '24 for completion. Obviously things can change.

Luxury Living was slated to do the lease-up. I guess we'll probably see pre-leasing marketing kick off late summer/fall?

The core structure will top out probably within the next 2-3 months, followed closely by the exterior facade, but there's still a lot of interior MEP and finish work to be done before occupancy permit is in hand, so I suspect January 2024 may still be off be a few months...all depends on how McHugh's contract is written, and if they are required to be substantially complete at that date marker.

Looking at Solarwind's above photo from May 25th, I'm guessing that by using the 3rd highest roof of NEMA in the background as a measure

we might get a sense of where this building might finish.
