I believe the Brigil tower on St. Laurent, facing Notre-Dame Cemetery also has a roof top restaurant. Is that for residents only?
Having visited the Rideau Club, I can say these people love to have dining service every night. These upper levels look like a good fit. Casual lunch pub, plus formal dining.

Ohh WOW indeed!!!! That's so much better than what I expected. I'm glad they are not effing up this tower that is forever going to be prominent.

This is really quite nice. Thank God () that the developers who worked with Christ Church understood the importance and prominence of these sites.

This is proof that it really comes down to the quality of materials and execution. Even with a simple design, this is shaping up to be one of the nicest towers under construction in the core, I wasn’t expecting that. Pleasantly surprised fore-sure.

Meanwhile all of our "tallest" projects (27-32 stories) are made of monkey 🞵🞵🞵🞵 materials and have zero ability to execute anything remotely aesthetically pleasing.

Love this tower BTW

This is a great tower, wish this one was taller but it's still great as it is.

Hey, I don't think Minto Métropole fits in your description. Sad that the best modern era 27-32 story building was the first way back in 2004.

I'm still struck about how it is almost 20 years old and still looks so much better than almost everything built since.

I love scanning your shots for it in the (sometimes far) background to get a sense of where in Ottawa I'm looking.

This one is beautiful. Imagine it was 35F instead of 18. Would overshadow the others, and it's a nice building at that so it would be a nice addition.

There is still one opportunity for a 'Landmark' tower of 35+ floors to anchor this end of the skyline.

Yes, please. Do we know of any developers who own the lot?

I believed it's owned by St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Assuming their congregation has dwindled down at the same rate as other churches, I'd say it won't be long before they look for a development partner.
