Nice pictures. Based on that view it really looks like those cranes are about at the same height as the Chrysler Building!

Yes, it's "supertall" status if you count the cranes. I always like those distant skyline views outside of Manhattan because you see the true scale of all those new supertalls.

^ i know they break stuff occassionally doing this kind of thing, i’ve seen it happen, but what i can’t understand is how they don’t break it all the time.

Did the speed pick way up in like the last month? I didn't expect it to be this tall already. It's huge now at this point. This is the most fun point of a building being built, when it starts making an impact on the skyline

It was actually stalled a bit due to the stop work order. They have really just re-started steel erection. They are beginning work on the 3rd tier now.

Do they have a person who's entire job is to build those construction elevators? I kinda assume those segments are built on the ground and lifted into place. Then another question. Is that a concrete counterweight on the elevator in the one pic above?
