Luv everything about this AS+GG design... including its location. Obviously well documented by lensers (similar volume of shots to CIBC Square 1 - see below)... and at least from this high angle, you get to see the Royal York Hotel bookended by 2 of the best looking bank towers on the continent (RBC gold and 160 Front W in serrated blue)

The juxtaposition of Royal Bank Plaza’s serrated gold and a completed CIBC Square Phase 2’s diamonds will be stunning from aerial views like this. Phase 2 is u/c right of centre.

A pic that shows the truncated/angled floor plates on one the towers (both towers have this floorplate, though hidden on the one on the left).

I'm not usually one to arbitrarily push for more height, but I do wish Phase 2 was at least slightly tower to create a step-down effect towards the water.

I would’ve preferred the CIBC Square adjoining park to be as wide as the footprints of the new buildings. Appears like it’s narrowed.

Has anyone been to the park lately? I saw from the highway a giant tree sculpture was erected. It looked really cool but I only got a glimpse of it from the Gardiner. If nobody posts a pic I'll try to get one on the weekend.

Nice shot of TD (160 Front West) and the many cranes of CIBC Square Phase 2, two more great additions to the skyline ... watched over by Royal Bank Plaza (still one of the best, in the centre of the pic).

I'll have to take a look at this park some time. It doesn't seem like a very interesting place to visit, but I figure it'll be better once both towers are complete.

It's not unless you are into train spotting. But I think once it's connection to the north side of the tracks it will become more lively. Right now it has the feel of an underused condo rooftop garden. It would have been cool if they put some food vendors up there to make it more of a destination.

Forgot to mention that OCAD will occupy the first 4 floors of the tower (except for a retail component occupying a piece of the first level at grade).

Don't know what OCAD's plan/programming is ... but that's a fair bit of space.
