Love this:

Outdoor Patio Program Now a Four-Year Term
We have refreshed the program for 2023 and your business can now apply for a patio on a City sidewalk or curbside space! Exciting updates include an extended four year Licence of Occupation and the option for either a seasonal (April to October) or year-round (365 days) patio! Once again, the City will continue to waive fees for all patio permits. Please read our new Patio Program Guide and information on edmonton.ca/Patios.

Downtown starts today and runs through the 26th. I hope many of you consider going to a few to help support, explore and encourage.

I missed your post until today. HANAN'S KITCHEN sounds interesting or at least the name sounds interesting ... any clues what the menu or style of cooking may be?

A few news items from the Whyte area…

Famoso on Whyte Ave has closed. Supposed to be a small plates and cocktail place opening there.

Humpty’s on Whyte just beside the bridge (formerly Whyte Earls) is closing the end of March. The building will be renovated and split for Ricky’s and Famoso to move in.

Pip moved across the street into a larger space, with Pal’s offering sandwiches in the same building. Former Pip space (104 and 83 Ave) will be a taco place (owned by the Meat, Next Act, Pip, Pal’s people).

Hanan is a common Arabic girl's name. Possibly something along those lines

Happy to have Community Natural Foods as our 22,000sf anchor grocery tenant (which was a black hole after Planet Organic departed 3 years ago) in our Strathcona Town Centre in the Strathcona neighborhood. This is a great brand to have in Edmonton and the community. Thanks to Eric Slatter with Omada Commercial - Edmonton, Arlyn Stoik, Alison Hansen-Carlson with Avison Young | Canada and Jim Gordon and Damon D. Tanzola with Calgary Co-op for getting this deal done! And Kyle Runzer, internal legal counsel, for working through the lease details, you were a huge help Go Auto Real Estate #realestate #community #canada #edmonton
