Yes annoying but I am happy the city is finally doing these projects (even tho they will be a headache).
We need to stop comparing our downtown to big cities. Our downtown is a flat and featureless grid of streets that is uninviting for half the year and barely inviting for the other 6 months. It has absolutely nothing to attract people. It has a park full of meth heads and people with serious mental health issues. A few tree wells on 11th Avenue will solve absolutely nothing. Yeah I understand this needs to be done but it's not going to turn our downtown around any time soon. The problems are numerous and I have zero answers and the people in charge don't seem to have much more than that.
