For cleaning I take one of those 1 gallon hand pump chemical sprayers and fill it with hot water and spray the bike off outside.

I have a bag on the back of my bike that acts as a partial fender. Riding without fenders or spray guards this time of year you'll end up as dirty as the bike.
Great tips! Yeah for me, fenders are a must.

I've been biking every road in the city once a year since 2019. Usually I don't finish until early June, but to even my surprise I'm pretty much done already. I've got about 8 major arterial roads left and I generally do those early in the morning or weekend mornings. There is a benefit to doing it in the winter as the roads are much smoother with all the holes filled with snow.

A lot of new tall phone towers have gone up in the past year. Less than half are totally new and the others replace shorter towers with ones that are at least 2x as tall.

I do hope they aren't fixated on the term "e-scooter" and ignore other electric mobility devices such as one wheels and electric skateboards.

I watched/listened to the debate and conversation. SGI doesn't allow the other mobility devices under provincial law so Council is following the legality of their bylaws.

That's a 175-page pdf, do you have a summary?

At this point, I'm starting to wonder if the city council is familiar with the concept of a multi-level parkade.

Truly. A multilevel parkade in the middle near the future bridge across the tracks would be smart and then development around.

Yikes, that plan looks horrible. Mostly parking.

Folks, it's a temporary use of the site. It's a plan to activate the space until the conditions (both physical and market) are there to for development to proceed. As they've done with FROST.

I'd rather see all that asphalt dedicated to permanent paths instead of temporary parking.

There are several excavators working on the former Traveler's Building site on the 18 block Broad. I did not get a good look at what they are up to?

Remember the thoughtful proposal regarding a farmers market and then it burnt down. Ugh.

$100K temporary facelift in the cards for the Yards

Dewdney Avenue will undergo construction in 2023 and 2024, meaning Yards will be utilized for temporary parking.

Isn't that just part of the Broad Street closure/restrictions that's happening until "June".

Downtown Regina construction to take four years, starts next month

“The work will happen between May and October every year starting this summer and through 2026. The first stretch will be from Broad Street to just west of Hamilton Street.“

How long until we have our first infrastructure project that takes a full decade to construct?
