Progressing well and windows look great, nice dark mullions pop against the light coloured brick - this actually looks like a luxury building unlike most condo buildings that are marketed as such in this city.

I can say the shape of this building (sloped upper portion anyway), looks really cool when observed from Tunney's. I am curious to see how it will turn out...

I still can't quite believe that this is a real project, it is so bizarre but I love it. Can't wait to see the copper go in (does anyone know if it will be real copper?)

This is turning out to be a very interesting building IMHO. It punches way above it's weight class.

Another one that isn't actually that tall but is built so well, it doesn't even matter. It adds great character to the neighborhood. I love it!

In terms of design & quality, this one will most likely be unmatched in the Ottawa region.

This one isn't tall, but it is certainly taller than everything else in the neighbourhood. Can we start a conversation about rewarding developers who bring good design with additional height (read: $$$).

Not many opportunities to build 'gateway' crown jewels.

I was told this building was going to destroy the peaceful village. Has it?

It's a block from RLA Westboro CharcCanyon 1.0, this one brings up that stretch after that travesty.

The neighbourhood was 12000% more concerned with this beautiful Mizrahi development being over 8 floors than they were with this:

This is the what the Chateau Laurier extension should look like. Not barcodes.

I was under the impression that locals were in support of this project when Mizrahi (gasp!) consulted with the community and presented the origial concept which was game changing for Ottawa (but a repeat of some of their Toronto projects). Ultimately, the City rejected it because it was a few floors too tall and wanted a new "landmark design".
