Right side of concrete has some facade/panel work going up.

There's a border of dark panels that run vertically up that corner of the building and then horizontally across the top (about the width of what's installed now). I think most of the remaining concrete will be exposed.

Yeah, your videos are great. This thing really is a beast. That west side view really shows how much bigger it is than almost everything else, but it still fits in on the skyline.

Couldn’t agree more. I remember when downtown was mostly brown, and when they built the Austonian the blue really stood out in a good way. Now it’s lost in a sea of blue buildings as far as the eye can see.

I'm kinda in the middle. Would absolutely love a white stone tower and a tall darker tower (Brooklyn's tallest makes me drool...)....

But on the other hand, I'm starting to really like how our buildings are looking. It fits Austin IMO....

Personally I'd love to see a forest green clad tower to complement our urban woodlands. I do like the dark maroon part of the Hobby building. In a way, I wish they could leave just that portion, tear down the other sections and build a much taller companion with an interesting crown of some sort. I'd like it in the 900 foot range since we need at least one 900-999 footer.

I think the Waller will absolutely be a unique and different building and will change the dynamic in terms of skyline asthetics, besides the height. The tower angle alone is going to be sweet.

Also the Waterloo Tower or whatever it's called will have that dark blue cladding, and the Paseo is going to be interesting too so I do think we are seeing a shift with these next gen towers.

Well Im patiently for that dark blue tower going up next to Alexan Waterloo, but a white stone with some kind of burnt orange brace or accents would be really nice if done rignt

I agree that we're seeing something of a design shift. Neither of the supertalls are blue glass, and (for instance) the Perennial #1 is gold. 5RR has a brown stripe, and 415 Colorado has some interesting facade work breaking up the glass.

I feel like we'll hit peak blue glass with The Republic . . . but I'm pretty ok with that. It's badass enough to be sort of the platonic ideal of the Austin Blue Glass Tower.
