Good ol' burly Montreal. Major densification happening in this former greyfield land.

Wow, that is one dense looking city. Whoever is the photographer did a great job with capturing that image. The Butterfly will be a nice addition to the skyline.

The new mayor of Vancouver brings some hope that we could actually see some towers in the 800 to 900 foot range. He's quoted as saying that Metro Vancouver's tallest towers belong in the CoV - ie the downtown peninsula and Broadway Corridor. He seems willing to overlook viewcone restrictions.

This is what all Vancouver posters have dreamed of if true. Vancouver has been held back. imagine if the restrictions were removed.

Vancouver looks really hefty in that last shot. Montreal looking great as usual (foreground is nearby my old stompin' grounds).

This one is pushing 13 years old, but still offers what might be the best vantage point of the Ottawa-Gatineau skyline.

Literally taken from my neighbourhood. Though my house is not in the shot.

Wow, that's gorgeous. It almost reminds me of San Fransisco for some reason. I'm almost seeing a similar building to the Transamerica Pyramid due to the lighting.
Well, ity's a hefty stretch to say that, but the silhouette can be confused in a quick glance.

Just a thought - for people who aren't familiar with the various skylines across Canada, can people put a tag/intro line to say which city the photo of is? This is especially helpful for some of the cities outside the big three.

^ Sometimes guessing is part of the fun

And agreed, that vantage point is probably one of the best, if not the best you can find in the metro area. Not that the skyline is anything special, but you can see a very large chunk of it stretching from Orleans to Tunney’s Pasture (and Westboro?), including all of Gatineau.

It's like a juiced Ottawa.

The hospital on the hill is like the perfect outside shot for a film location.
