Nice update!

The Brentwood area gives me strong Japanese vibes. There are areas I have been to in Kobe that look exactly like this stretch of Lougheed.

Phase 2 amenity/reception building is definitely an upgrade over Phase 1!
They need some ivy to hang down those stone walls.

I get strong "neo-brutalist" vibes from the ground level space of this design. Not a huge fan. Those might be the most uninviting stairs I've ever seen.

I like it! Though I have always had a softer spot for brutalist architecture than most.

Could they not have used some of that stone to clad the main entrance? Ovrerall one of the oddest and ugliest grounds for a new tower project. The towers themselves are pretty decent though at least.

That circular fountain should at least have stone cladding around it.

They probably kept the landscaping low to preserve the views through the stilts,
but the stairs need vines hanging down or climbing up the stone wall.
The assymmetry with Phase 2 is a bit weird, since that side looks like it'll have aluminum cladding.

Spot on and I have been thinking exactly the same. Poor execution that detracts from the entire project.

It looks like an airport Arrivals terminal.

It's just missing the line of taxi cabs and the luggage carts bundled together against the side of the building.

Thanks for the update. These are fantastic shots. On the last photo, you can see how much of the buildings in the quadrant of Willington, Dawson Alpha, and Alaska Street have been demolished with only a presentation centre and one tower under construction. Also, everything is flat east of Alpha Avenue between Lougheed and Dawson.

the lobby or adjoining building on the second set still under construction is so much better and more interesting than the one adjoining the first two towers. Driving westbound down Lougheed at about holdom these four twoers form a big wall, it's pretty heavy looking.

There doesn't appear to be any retail street close by. The idea behind paying a premium to live in a tower is that you can walk out the door and have shopping and restaurants within a few steps. I guess Brentwood Mall is suppose to fill that role.

They should have continued on building Dawson Street as the main high street for east Brentwood. I presume the section of Dawson Between Beta and Willingdon will be retail. That would be relatively close by.
