I considered placing him in a McShitty's but we all know Ches' is where he belongs. Maybe bowl of anuses bought himself a partnership or part of the franchise.

Bowl of Anuses:

Straight from the Bolanus!

A vomitous mélange of grotesqueries. Bolanis, Baird, a plate o' puke. Hard to decide which is the most revolting.

I said this the last time the pictures were posted, but I'd definitely eat that. Particularly the one with gravy and dressing.

Perhaps it would taste good but the presentation looks like a soiled diaper.

Four douchebags in a row. of them, Chad is undoubtedly the douchiest of the bunch. Then Mr. Clean (whom I believe is Chavril's brother), then the twit with the soul patch, followed by Beardo.

I'd only go to a Nickelcrap concert if it was taking place in Portugal, so that I might join the others in tossing rocks at the band.

Besides, my birthday has already passed

Just look at this guy:

I'm not gonna lie. I like Nickleback songs. They just all sound so similar.

Love that

It does taste good, though! Not the fish - greasy AF and the batter is the kind that's soggy and white on the inside.

But fries, dressing and gravy is good everywhere here. It also tastes more or less the same everywhere. It's really only when people are using, like, store-bought "stuffing" or the wrong gravy that it tastes wrong. I'd go to Duke if you want basic battered fish, but actually good and not too greasy:

F for presentation. Willing to bet the taste is B- ...or A when intoxicated

When I visited my 1st cousin while she was living in Arizona, we went to some dive bar and the young people put on Nickelback. We made fun of these young Americans pretty bad. I think my cousin said "No one in Canada actually likes these guys!"
I stand corrected.

I have a feeling a lot of the posters in this thread would get along hanging out in person.
Where's the best spot to get the Newfie "poutine" in St. John's?

Not to defend them (post grunge alternative metal is not my thing), but the Tragically Hip also sounded all the same.

That's a venerable old Nfld. institution, around for over 70 years, maybe SHH can give them some funky design tips. You won't find many, if any at all, NL restaurants that have even survived that long.

I remember eating in some out of the way Chinese places in Vancouver's Chinatown that everybody raved about, but the décor was non-existent or hideous.

Well said. That song that goes '$2.50 for a hi-ball And a buck and a half for a beer Happy hour, happy hour Happy hour is here !!' makes me run for the off switch in a nano second. In the mid 90's I attended a family wedding in the UK and the DJ played the 'Hip' for the Canadian contingent at the wedding. Not popular. A few minutes later back to Oasis, Blur and standard wedding music and the dance floor was full again.

CanCon regulations have definitely benefitted the Hip.

Fully Agreed. I tried, really hard, to love the Hip. I just couldn't. I don't care for the tempo/singing ($2.50 for a hi-ball And a buck and a half--SQUELCH!!), although I recognize the talent. Tragically Overplayed.

And I love a lot of Canadian bands (well, those from the 70s, especially: CANCON made these bands feasible, and many of them put out great stuff).

I confess I’ve actually seen Nickelback in concert. They were the opening act for Everclear before they made it huge. I actually liked a couple songs off the first album before it all became douche rock ballads. They played a long set and got the crowd more amped up than the main act even. I feel dirty. Hopefully we can still remain friends Molson .

Also never liked the Hip.

The best Cancon is Calgary’s Loverboy! Everybody’s workin’ for the weekend!
