For residents, its a few minutes back to your unit if you're living in the complex.

I think the bigger play here is to open themselves up as an option to people that are looking for an outdoor oriented meal/snack in the open-air atrium or taking it up to the food-court etc. Could see the business case doing quite well in the summer.

Yeah, possibly in the summer if there's somewhere to sit close by, that isn't near traffic.

Seems doubtful when you can just sit on their patio and eat. It's not like take out will be much cheaper.

On my commute to work today I used Lougheed and I was passing/stopped at the red light at willingdon a small SUV was driving down the bike lane in front of TAB, people were walking down it and most stood aside, and watched in bewilderment as they drove through. It wasn't any kind of service or work truck just some idiot who thought it was a road? or wanted to avoid the backup.

Tower 8 rezoning has been submitted as REZ #22-36, It'll be market rental. Tower 8 is where the Scotiabank currently is.

Better City planners, no viewcones, taller towers, more ceiling heights to be factored in for commercial spaces, and hence more light here. They're is all related you know?

The tree is gone, I don't think it was ever alive.

The Earls was packed, and I overheard two guys coming out saying that there was a wait to get a table of just over an hour, around 5 pm.

That's disappointing. I hope the next tree will be more successful.

As sidenote, those seats at Earls look very uncomfortable.

This one is finally public, interesting. Should be a good sized and welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
