I was fiddling with the water controls and this screengrab seemed pretty sharp:

Thanks for those pics of our smaller cities MolsonExport. They don't get the attention or respect they deserve.

Agreed. It reminds me of a city in the states, but the density shown in the distance looks pretty incredible.

I think Peterborough's downtown skyline might be similar to Prince George BC when I think of it. Although there's a few slab towers which you don't really see in the west coast.
That being said, I haven't explored Peterborough enough to find a good area to get an image of it, and doubt I will until later on.

Great shot of Vancouver!

The tabletop is definitely history from this angle.

There is a webcam at Jericho Sailing Centre, which is likely near where the photo was taken.

Terrible skyline pic of Ottawa from the corner of Bronson and Slater. The two cranes in the foreground are the new library, the crane in the middle is a new 30-ish floor Claridge tower. We see in the distance Zibi on the right. This view should ne quite different in 5 years with the library and thousands more units.

Central Dartmouth would be quite nice without all the vacant lots occupied by surface parking.

That lot behind the terraced building is a "cursed" lot that was I believe acquired by the WDC/Develop NS and sat empty for decades. There was a proposal in the early 2000's that was never built. I am not sure what was there before it was a parking lot. The province identified it as a special site for some kind of housing initiative so I wonder if something will finally be built there.

Dartmouth will probably change a lot in the next 10 years or so. It has something like 8-10 30 storey towers proposed, although it turns out the Canal Street one isn't planned until 2025. The crane in that last picture is for a 28 storey building.

Never seen that side of the Wharf development. It's kinda unfortunate how the high rises meet the water. It's like a mini Emaar Beachfront in Dubai. A dock would drastically reverse things.

It is a narrow canal opening there with industrial on the other side about 20 m away. Potentially a really interesting area although a portion of the canal was kind of wrecked with arterial roads, culverting, and bad development.

They are actually going to de-70's-artery-ify Alderney I believe and one additional street will cross the canal on a bridge.
