Third snowfall of the year here today. The first two snowfalls consisted of 3 or 4 cm each, so nothing dramatic. First one didn’t last long. Second one was melting at a steady pace. This one is bigger and should stick around in spite of the above freezing temperatures in the short term forecast.

Instant Christmas card here overnight.

First time the snowblower's been out this season.

Garden City Skyway in St. Catharines yesterday. Hours long traffic jam caused by a couple of trucks jackknifing while descending.

Apps like google maps and Waze are super important on a day like that. I use it anytime I'm driving somewhere more than 10 minutes and especially if taking a highway.

Actually, a couple of times this summer I didn't use it for a regular drive I was doing twice a week that was 10 minutes and there was construction on the Dundas overpass at 9am. Lost about three minutes each time as it was only one lane closed but taking Upper Middle instead takes the same amount of time so having that easy option but not taking it is what made it so annoying.

A beautiful sunny afternoon in the Junction, snow is 95% melted. Feels like a late March or early April day.

Forecasts vary a bit for Vancouver, 3°C & cloudy now, but we're about to have a cold snap, then back to more seasonal weather.

We're getting our second dusting of snow tonight as a cold front moves in. Current temperature is 0.2C, expected to drop to -4C by morning.

Day 16? Of no sun? I think. Even the thin veneer of social norms the crackhouse follows have broken down.

The grey drizzle has broken into some wet flurries, 1 degree at just before 11am. At least it's a change from the past few weeks.

Mid-week storm looking to set us up for even more rain on top of the 60mm we had over the past few days. Green Christmas looking likely.

+2C and overcast in Moncton at 10 AM.

Our next storm is due to start about noontime. It's already pretty windy out (gusting to 44 km/hr). Precipitation will be mostly snow, but mixed with some rain, creating a lot of slop. Precipitation will last the remainder of the day and all of tomorrow with about 20 cm expected.

I'm already tired of winter. When will it ever end.

I suggest we organize a trade with Italy. We grant them all of Canada in exchange for Sicily. We could fit 40 million Canadians into Sicily couldn't we Tancredi.

Was 3 degrees and calm last night. Downtown Oak was basically full. I found the one street parking spot closeby. And lots were full. I don't think I've ever walked or even driven through the downtown when the weather was garbage so I do wonder how much activity there is when conditions are not pleasant.

And my neighbour's Christmas display is in full swing. Of course, while driving by, a car in front just straight up stopped and made me stop on the road. Too many people are incapable of processing two simple things at the same time. Ooohhh, look, some lights! Let's stop in the middle of the road and not once peer into my rearview mirror to see if there's a car behind me. Took them a good five seconds to start moving again and turn into a driveway to do a u-turn and park on the curb on the other side. Of course, I wasn't going to honk and ruin it for the people walking around and taking in the Christmas vibes. Plus, they do it for charity.

It's about 5c breezy and rainy this early afternoon in Halifax. EC has issued a weather statement in regards to rain and high winds. TWN is forecasting 0c or above daytime highs for the remainder of the year. The normal high for today is 2c. It now looks more certain that we'll be having a green xMas this year.

I really like your proposal but I'd rather move to Canada by myself and find real Canadians and not other Sicilians.

I am very envious of your storm
