How cold is this place going to be in the winter with flowing water? Damp, windy out in the open... thoughts?

Probably won't be noticeably different than the rest of the city in the winter.

Cool shot. That's a pretty massive tiling job they're doing down there.

Good thing they aren't using the same contractor as Claridge Icon's interlock, it would take them until the year 3197 to finish this job.

Rare case when it looks better than on the renderings, but I wish they left some grass patches here and there. Seems like they are overreacting after that flood a few years ago.

The grass field in Britannia is flooded every year for several weeks, and it's perfectly fine the rest of the year.

I think eventually grass and shrubs will start growing in the cracks of those rocks, which could look kind of neat.

Looks good. These will be unique in Ottawa, at least in this area (similar towers have been proposed near Bell Street and Lincoln Fields).

Wonder why Zibi is not lobbying to fix and open up that space with picnic tables that's been abandoned since forever. Seems like an easy win.

The place was built between 2002 and 2005 with nice street lights, pavers and tables. And in 2005 it was already fenced off for good.
Did they just forget to open it? This is bonkers.

Best view of DT Ottawa right now is from Eddy/Taché... and it is only going to get better.

Try the corner of Montreal rd. and Carson rd. looking west bound.
You'll be impressed

Digging a hole for a new building or just soil decontamination?
Do we have plans for what could be going in there?

Looks like the 11-floor building on the Quebec side has topped out.

So strange to see buildings with varying heights. Such a shock.
