great Montreal shot. Are they just testing out the new line there? Also will all the trains only be 2 cars long?

Apparently they stock is made up of 2-car married pairs with the 2-car consists running off-peak and two pairs combined into four at peak.

Frequency is more important than the size of the trains

Not an answer to my question. You can still have more frequency with more cars.

Thanks, Nouvellecosse. I figured they could add more cars when needed.

Only the south shore line will run like that. The west island trains will run several cars.

Testing with several cars.

Does anybody know what that grey building is with the columns left of the red building? I can't place it and I don't recognize it.

A little big of Google Map magic told me this is 55 St. George Street. I believe it was only finished a year or two ago. I recall seeing a UT thread about this project some time ago. It's a pretty nice building, though I don't think I've ever been in this part of the campus before.

I'm so impressed with Montreal these days. It's what I imagine the 60s must've been like for that city with the sheer amount of game changing developments.
