I have no doubt this thing is 874 feet. I see it every day from southwest Austin ,and it towers over The Independent. For perspective, the crown of the Frost Bank Tower is 110 feet tall above the top floor of the building. That's according to the building elevations for it that I've seen. From that vantage point, Sixth & Guadalupe is easily more than 110 feet above the top of The Independent. The views of it from the north are somewhat less clear what height difference is, but seeing it from south and southwest Austin gives a better view of it. I saw it this afternoon from the northbound lanes of Mopac going over Barton Creek south of 360, and it really towers over the Independent there.
It's going to be even more clear how tall it is once 321 West is topped out. 321 West will only be 4 feet taller than the 53rd floor setback of Sixth & Guadalupe, and it'll be right across the street from that side of the building where the setback is.
