Very cool to see how the designers tie it all together - as a composer and conductor, I appreciate that attention to detail even if this "piece" isn't my necessarily my cup of tea. Well done and nicely executed.

One of the things that I love about Rain is that back patio area. It's really neat to walk out and look at the surrounding highrises.

I'm still really disappointed with this one's street interaction. An empty lobby with tons of parking sitting on top is not great for an area that has a lot of bars, restaurants and hotels. They could have done more.

I wonder if they wish they had at least ten more floors to rent. I know this building would look more proportionate. I drove by it last Saturday and even though it's not bad looking, it did seem a bit squatty from the podium up.

Nice stuff! It really has moved definitively away from that signature orthodontic look. Now more like a space age gumball machine, TBH.

I actually don't mind the building. Yeah, it would have been better with an office section 3x taller, but I think its an interesting building.

Either way, beautiful drawing!

It hasn't been approved by the site mods yet. It takes roughly 24 hrs for it to be approved and show up on the diagram.

Thanks everyone! From a design perspective, I like this building because it stands out from your typical rectangular glass box. Whether it stands out in a good way is subjective, but there is something about the blue/orange mix that I find aesthetically pleasing.

That said, it has the same problem as Frost Tower in that it could use an extra couple hundred feet added to its height. This tower is going to get buried in a canyon of taller skyscrapers surrounding it.

Ah makes sense, thanks.

Many of the projects are blurred out, e.g. Waterline and the Republic - this looks intentional. Anyone know of a way to see the original diagram?

Here's the answer to that: https://skyscraperpage.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=251377

New Policy: blur applied to drawings of proposed and under construction buildings

The new policy for the skyscraper diagrams is to not show exact designs of proposed buildings. This new policy is required for legal reasons. An illustrator still has full access to his original drawing, but the public will only see a blurred version of it until construction of the actual building is finished.

I've read many of your comments and some good points are made. Further refinement of this policy will take place so that soon the number of building statuses that gets blurred drawings will be less.

I'm sorry I haven't responded earlier, I have limited time to work on things. Making this change was a pressing issue which had to be done without waiting longer to do consultation.
