Agreed, this is an absolute showstopper! Great location as well to stand out in the pack. The juxtapose with the church is just icing on the cake.

on my commute to work the other day I saw three panels on a truck making its way down hwy 1. How many do they install a day? It looks like they can only transport three at a time.

Even more icing on the cake is that it came from a local architectural firm.

Just keeping score - Yesterday flew tables for the 43rd floor and Today rebar work begins, also some maintenance work on the concrete placing boom.

Today
They got the hang of this now, moving right along, one third of the tower is covered. How many can be install per day, not sure, also using a spider crane.
The North and South facade will show more curvature then East and West.

The deck took a beating last night Lower Mainland Weather Central. Attempted to straighten one of the column cages this morning but had to drop everything for a windows delivery.

Today, all is good, they straightened everything out.

Looked out the window and noticed a small black blemish, maybe just a shadow? took a closer look.

Another casualty from the Nov 04 windstorm, hopefully just the one.

Hard to differentiate the 2 organ pipes with that wavey pattern.

The South and North sides have much deeper separation and therefore more clear distinction between the 'pipes'.

I haven't seen them from that angle (which is where the breezeway is located),
but it would have been nice if all 4 pipes would have been more clearly defined.
