The largest cities in Brazil, Sao Paulo, Rio, Brasilia, Salvador, Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Manaus, Porto Alegre and Curitiba, are cities that have very strict zoning laws, preventing the height of new developments from exceeding the determined limit.
There are varied justifications for this view: Shadow over the beach in the largest coastal cities, protection of historic buildings, reduction in vehicle traffic, reduction in gentrification, etc.
But we know that this is not the case, especially in cities that have skyscrapers and supertalls in harmony with other buildings, landscapes, urban traffic and people.
According to the 2022 IBGE Census, Balneário Camboriú or simply BC has 139,155 inhabitants with 672,298 of metro (2018). It has a floating population of around 450,000 inhabitants who seek out the city for vacation purposes.
There is high freedom and practically no limitations. The city is also attracting intl. investors, companies and celebrities, focusing on luxury housing and for people with high purchasing power who also wish to invest in the city's real estate market.
Tourists can benefit from it too. There are interesting new entertainment options and events emerging in the city due to investments.

It's crazy that there are no supertalls or many tall skyscrapers in Brazil's largest cities despite them having an endless amount of highrises.
