Because South Granville is too swank for just a regular Value Village

Looks like they've scared the Ian Tan Gallery to move a few blocks south though. Industrial Revolution on the same block is also liquidating their stock and I assume they're closing.

was that the location of Urban Barn or the Urban Brick?

Urban Barn is going to open next to West Elm or it could be open by now, haven't been down that street recently.

Our Very Own is now open in Metropolis and they have a rope to get inside and when walking passed they must have had over 30 customers inside and many people carrying bags from there.

Urban Barn. The Brick are next door to the south. The new Urban Barn isn't quite fitted out yet.

October's Very Own .. they just launched a collab with Bape.. it seems to be popular.

I've seen them asking near $100 for a Columbia jacket at VV.

I was on South Granville today and noticed that Edward Chapman was empty, when did they close up?

Urban Barn had a lot of work going in, they had the door open today with workers inside.

That store always looks like they're closing, of course one day they will be closed for good but who knows when.

Fitness World just sent around an e-mail that they failed to renegotiate a renewal of their space at The Hudson (their signature location) on Granville St. downtown.
I guess that explains why they recently reopened the Georgia & Bute location (but not as a "signature" location).

Price Smart Foods is opening in the old Save on Foods space in Coquitlam. Chinese signage is up along with the coming soon signage.

^Overwaitea sure does a lot of brand jockeying. They’re also changing the Buy-Low Foods at Kingsgate Mall to Save on Foods.

I think that the Air Miles are bonuses through the linked credit card, rather than "double points" where you earned (a measley) 1 mile per $20 of weekly purchases at Safeway and a mile from the credit card.

I first heard this from staff in August. It already has happened internally with PoS changed over (that was late August iirc) and carrying Save On’s house brands like Western Family.
No idea when an official rebranding will happen.
