I find some western European cites with the low slung skyline and then one giant peaking tower to look weird. Obviously that's just a fetish aesthetic and doesn't have much to do with actual functionality.
Something in the 130m range would probably provide the most appealing photoshoot from a distance.
That being said.. I wouldn't throw a 60fl building out of bed in the morning upon sobering up. I would make it coffee and toast.

I kind of agree but I also think that it wouldn't stand out too much once 400 Albert and Lebreton is developed as Lebreton will have many taller towers and 400 Albert is peaking out a little. 60 floors could definitely work here, but it needs to be well designed.
Maybe 45 floor taller tower could be implemented on the lot with the two 3 story buildings beside the 35 floor tower.
This is an old site plan btw, it's still 35 floors.
