That's not the one; north of this site.

The project was conceived by a well-known developer from the 80s/90s and about a 20 storey tower.

"Jorel’s family owned and operated Block 1912 on Whyte Avenue until 2020, where Mikayla worked as the general manager for years before moving into the bakery. “Working around coffee makes sense — it’s what we know,” said Jorel."

Restaurants That Are Institutions as Much as Places to Dine
Edmonton’s Bistro Praha is among the rare spots to find a formula that has ensured longevity in a generally difficult business.

Nice interview with the owner of a new hummus bar in town. Refreshing to hear why he chose Edmonton as the destination for his Canadian expansion. The other Vish locations are in Florida and New Jersey. https://globalnews.ca/video/9059476/vish-restaurant-comes-to-yeg/

According to the website, the visionary behind VISH is also behind one of the leading hummus brands in Israel.

Worth a watch (and a visit IMO)

An incredible local story and legacy. Elisa and her husband have done an amazing thing with the new spot, but I will never forget some of my most memorable lunches sipping on a glass of red and feasting on their famous risotto in Manulife Place.

I've gone well out of my way many times to get a muffuletta with the olive tapenade from Zenari's.

Rosebowl pizza is opening a new place.

Most of you wont like where it is, but its going to be as close to me as it was when I live in Oliver!

Bottega 104 now closed.

Hearing that Century Hospitality is taking things over and rebranding things as a wing and beer joint???

That stretch MUST be rebranded as the Chicken District and colloquially known as bokbok street.

Probably not at all to be honest. Covid subsidies for hospitality just recently ended and we've seen a number of smaller places close in the past few months. My guess is these places just aren't making any money.
