I meant to post that it seemed like they were doing more soil testing at this site the other day.

I really wish the driveway for this development was on Bay rather than Cannon crossing the bicycle track. It's already dangerous enough with all the driveways.

Looks like site work is beginning. Excavators have been on site this week removing the old asphalt and the site is surrounded by construction fencing.

So all work has stopped here, but I did notice that today the site plan was submitted: DA-22-143

they also submitted a site plan last year.

No idea what's happening here, and shows how CityHousing is in desperate need of some competence.

The pace of work here has been inconsistent, but I think we can change the title regardless to Under Construction. State of the site as of this afternoon:

I'm really curious of this foundation, never seen something like this. It's a concrete box that's been filled in with soil:

It's called backfilling. This development will have no below grade levels. The soil is used to strengthen the foundation.

Took a photo the other day, looks to be the elevator shaft form?

This now has sections at grade built, looks to be the stairwells and elevator shaft. I wonder if these will be steel beam construction?

Your last photos have Deltabeams, which means almost certainly precast floors are to follow. The beams are a hollow steel shape that gets filled with concrete/grout after the floor is placed, locking it all together (you can see all the holes for rebar to pass through),

Third floor is fully installed. Likely to start poured the forms for the elevator shaft and concrete today or tomorrow for the fourth floor
