I've got money riding on this. Much of my financial capitol!

But really, those jokers in KW will probably out-height everyone. I imagine they're just sitting there, lying in wait, to see what tall proposals get approved and then top them by a single metre and grab all the glory.

Nah. London has 550K in the metro, so it does have a number of things to do.

Doesn't matter. Selling 1000 condos on that service road in the Hammer wouldn't take more than a couple weeks. That service road is booming with investor condos. Whether it gets build or not will comes down to approval and leverage. London is more of a rental market. Condo sales or finding partners for a 53 storey rental tower would take more effort

it'll probably take more than a couple weeks to sell 1,400 condos, but yea, Hamilton can tap into the GTA condo market which London can't.

A 900 unit project in Downtown Hamilton is selling right now and is about 50-60% sold from my understanding after about 2 months into sales.

I imagine the Stoney Creek project would launch one tower at a time over a year or two in order to get construction going, perhaps starting with the two south towers then launching the north tower later.
