Clearing/grading for the new tower has not started yet. (the staging you see has been there for a while.. it's for the existing office building)

Believe it or not, its for a third office tower. Its part of Phase II, i believe. Along with a plaza in front of the existing office towers.

https://olsonkundig.com/projects/760-ralph-mcgill-boulevard/ Has images of the plaza, and you can see the third tower off to the side.

Love it, looks like something you would see in Europe. Need more of these types of design.

Unfortunately, I believe they are actually disassembling the tower at that location. The fact they have not cleared the site yet makes me believe they are not going to start on the third tower any time soon. Perhaps with a looming recession and tightening commercial market, they are waiting a bit for the third tower. Perhaps someone who regularly visits this area can verify if the tower is being assembled or disassembled.

Just an FYI the plaza is actively under construction. Lots of concrete already poured and trees on site to be planted in frame sections.

They disassembled the crane, correct. Not clear on plans moving forward. Would love to see them increase residential and build out the proposed surface parking lot. Hell, make a mirror copy of the tiered residential building at the surface lot location and I’d be happy.

Braved the crowds on the beltline this past weekend...

This thing is massive!
I'm not a fan of having rounded corners with flat windows. The Microsoft building at Atlantic Station did the same and to me, it looks flawed.

Lovely! You could almost trick someone into thinking this was a modern part of Copenhagen or Rotterdam.
