I was specifically told about 6 months ago that negotiations for the construction of 3 towers with cranes was taking place. Other than 1 of those towers (The Travis) I was never told what the other 2 were.

So this may all check out. It could also be a chicken and the egg problem where those 3 towers all were ready to rock and roll and this one was a little further behind. So its not to say it couldn't join the party, just that it doesn't sound like the other GCs were talking to that projects GC.

Nashville is important because M2 has a large footprint there. Financing for Nashville is apparently secured. They're also working on a tower in FL; however, I am worried they're spread too thin. M2's principal is married to a Marriott, who owns the Ritz Carlton. That division of M2 is called "Morris-Marriott".

Morris-Marriott Development is M2 Development Partners - not a division of.

Morris = 1st "M" & Marriott = 2nd "M". Thus, M2

Agree...it seems M2 is way over their skis with development proposals in their pipeline.

Everything I've heard says there will be no movement or construction on this site (Travis II) until Travis I is complete.

You are a better source than I tend to be, but over a year ago I was told there was negotiation for crane placement between 3 buildings and we've got 3 under construction right now so this would also track with what I've heard.

It's a higher quality rendering of the previous rendering. This has a 2023 or 2024 groundbreaking in my opinion. But hey, so many of the tallest projects have gotten underway that we'll need something to look forward to in a couple years.

I need as many of the 800 footers to happen to balance the skyline. I also need both the Perennial and Block 16 to happen because their aesthetic designs are top notch.

I like this one. It's better than the weird design we had before which just looked like a stack of boxes. It was also dark. I like how this matches The Travis and also the Shore Condos.

I don't mind waiting for this one. The Conrad is almost good to go and will add height to balance the skyline.

It's worth noting that the shore has now been repainted, though it's still a fairly light grey with navy accents.

I do wonder with this rendering, where the Ritz (or other hotel) logo will go? I can't imagine they are signing onto a building without a fairly prominent logo placement.
