That's describing the entire building. It has so many shapes that it is basically a shapeless mess.

Well I have a plain and clear view from my place all evening long; and I find it really bright and really not related to the shape of the tower itself at all(whatever mess that can be). I'm just not a fan of such bright LED strips that plagued a lot of new towers in the 2010s: it feels already dated and it's not gonna age pretty in my humble opinion.

Great pictures, as ever, mcminsen, thanks. They give us an opportunity to view the building from the east (Seymour Street) side, and from the west side, (Granville, Robson Square perspective, etc).
IMHO, the Seymour Street facade is quite pleasant; the way it slopes down and flares out, with the "split" at the corner of Vancouver Center which helps the designs complement each other and also softens yet provides a pleasant piece of streetwall. ............... However ......... the west-facing side of the building is another story. The rectangular box shape of that side has zero charm or originality, the sloping piece topping the building seems all awkward and "off-key," somehow, and creates a jumbled effect. And as for those strips of light ... hey, I like light, but that is Third World trash, or else like a building temporarily lit for a special event, which this is not. Hope those lights are muted in some way.

Probably bright for 'burn-in' which is part of the commissioning / testing process.
It'll probably be toned down in intensity in regular usage.

Miller Thomson just moved into 22 and 23 of TD Tower.
Maybe they'll complain about the lights like they did about the LED video screen on the Best Buy/Winners building when they were above Nordstrom.

From mcminsen’s photos it looks like the lighting will be quite visible from the Granville strip. It will look good matched with the neon and light bars of Granville street. The more varied style and type of light on the top of downtown buildings is always welcomed by me.
