I was in Chicago for most of this summer. I have to say, 6x Guad feels more like a smaller version of the Sears Tower. It always felt like it, everytime I rode my pedicab through the loop, seeing it tower over the skyline. Especially the way the tower's design changes from every angle.

This puts it in perspective to me. This Austin tower will be a few feet higher than the ‘871 BoA Tower in Charlotte pictured below, and that thing is truly a monster from any angle in uptown CLT. It can be seen from 20 miles out easily. I can then imagine how daunting this Guadalupe Tower will look in downtown ATX 😮

Does anyone know if the exposed concrete columns on the balconies will get painted/stained, or are the to stay natural concrete? I am not really sure if they need to be a different color or not! The way they are right now seems at bit off to me right now. When the building is finished the natural concrete might just be the right approach. Any thoughts out there?
