That thing is worse than pretty much anything in Ottawa. We're all about bland and souless, that's just plain ugly!

Even the tarps are ugly!

Charlotte was expertly shrink wrapped in comparison.

If 1960 Scott is the Walmart of 'Luxury Rentals', than this thing is the Dollarama of 'Luxury Rentals'

Pretty much

The word "luxury" should be banned from the developer glossary of sales terms. Overused. It's meaningless now.

Honestly, I think people would want to see the word "affordable" more than luxury, though developers would probably call $3,000 a month "affordable".

If this building just had a roof feature and/or overhang on both the upper portion and podium this project would be much nicer. I don't mind the simplicity and repetition on the meat of the tower, it just lacks a defining feature.

The pavers/ concrete grounds around the building are nice and spacious. It will be nice when the trees along Scott grow in. Someone needs to step up and care for the grass around the hydro pole though.

The ground floor retail and entrance to the building is pretty crap however.

Underneath the address and between the pillars needs a much better treatment. I almost feel like I am searching for the door to the apartment in the sea of ugly storefronts.

This style of retail frontage needs to go. I hate it with every ounce of my being. Story@Chapel did the exact same thing but a couple feet taller. It's ugly, soulless and bland.

This one hasn't been adding up for me since 320 McRae topped out. They look almost exactly the same height from every angle. There was no way that 1960 Scott is only 74m. Now that the new Google imagery is out I can confirm that 1960 Scott is exactly 81m from base to architectural tip (subtracting exposed rooftop mechanical). I suspect we will find that 320 McRae is within 3m +/- on the next update.

Ahhh it all makes sense now. At some point along the line this got upped to 25 stories. I hadn't actually counted until this moment. Now we know why it's around the same height as 320 McRae.

A 25-storey monstrosity, unfortunately. Looks like something the Soviets would build, or an asylum. How things like this continue to get built in Ottawa is beyond me!?
