Great panoramas!

I was trying to think . . . are there other towers in the pipeline (beside the supertall) that are close to this height? I think everything else we know about is in the 700 ft range or under.

EDIT: minus whatever ends up happening at the Avenue Lofts.

Thanks! Been driving all over town the past month. Very interested in the building's distant impact on the skyline (which is dramatic). Can easily see the tower in parts of 4 counties... and probably 5 if you include Caldwell county (not verified yet).

Guessing another 50-ish feet to go. Should be approaching the top occupied floor shortly then starting on the crown.

I can now see this building from the hilltop of my neighborhood in Dripping Springs. For reference, my neighborhood is next to downtown Dripping, by the water tower that says "Gateway to the Hill Country". Pretty wild that you can see this that far out.

Impressive! That's got to be at least 20 miles away as the crow flies.

Wow, we pass by there every day on our way to work. That's pretty crazy. Google Earth pins it right around 20 miles.

I saw Sixth & Guadalupe Wednesday morning from William Cannon in South Austin, and the low clouds were blocking part of the view of the building and only the top was sticking up.

What jarrs me the most is just how far north and how to the Capital Bldg this is. The view from south bound 35 is stunning.

It's funny how small Austonian and Independent look now with this towering over both of them.

This tower is really balancing out the skyline. Prior to it, it looked flat and uneven. Don't get me wrong. It was still nice but felt more like an outline of a booming skyline. But this tower is giving us a taste of just how big the skyline will actually be once all the tallest towers get built. It's gonna be no joke of a skyline.

The FAA permit said 925 is the top out height for the crane. I'm guessing that's where we are now.
