This graphic from the "321 W 6th" project has a decent representation of what the city skyline will look like once several of the U/C projects are completed (Frost and a few others on the eastern edge of the city are absent from the render, but that's not the point).

The graphic includes:
6XG
415 Colorado
321 W 6th
Republic
Hanover Brazos

It makes the city look really large, and doesn't even include the other U/C towers like 98RR, Modern, or Travis.

Height update. So the tower is approximately around 786ft. with 88ft. to go.

Did you buy any chance get any elevations showing the north side of the tower? To show the north setback? That one was originally 786 feet, but with the additional height added to the residential floors, I was curious about what that number would be. Might even be over 800 feet.

I only have the South & East elevations. The South was the one needed to get the final height.

We were pulling into the Brodie Oaks shopping center from Loop 360 this afternoon, and the only two buildings that came into view from that entrance (just before you turn right for the hill up to the old Toys R US) was The Independent and Sixth & Guadalupe. It's a pretty dramatic view despite being just two buildings, but it's sort of surreal seeing them pop up above the hill and all the greenery there.

I suppose the east ones would do. Do you have the full size of those? Otherwise, I guess we could just add a foot to each of the residential floors below that setback to get the number. I have the old elevations on my other computer, but it's down at the moment, so I can't view them. And I can't seem to find the approved site plan link for the building either.

I emailed them to you. These were never available on any of the permits.

Thanks. This year has sort of taken the wind out of my sails a bit, and I've been slacking on keeping up. I need to get the computer situation fixed. I have another at my disposal, but it's not mine.

Captured some distant shots this weekend. The tower really dominates.

I-35 southbound between Braker and Rundberg

I-35 northbound just south of Onion Creek Pkwy

Burnet Road at Shoreline Drive in north Austin

I-35/290E flyover

Ben White/I-35 flyover

The tallest ramps at 35/Ben White have the best view of anywhere in the city, hands down.

This view also shows the Domain skyline to the very far left.

Yeah, you sure can. I spotted the buildings in many spots in South Austin. I could even see the stadium.

I saw downtown last weekend from FM 967 down in Hays County, about halfway between Buda and Dripping Springs. It was odd seeing ranch land and then downtown in the background so prominently. It was a good 18 miles away from that spot.

Several months back when I was still living in Buda, I mentioned on here how you can see this tower peering out of the skyline out there by Creedmoor. It's the first tower you see once you hit 45 and I-35.

For a medium sized city, we've got so many space-aged shapes in our skyline -- Google Sail, The Independent, and Indeed Tower are the main ones, but of course the Republic, and 98RR are going to just add a bunch of weird/cool shapes to the mix, too.
