The western end of Hamilton's core, from the harbour. There are a number of developments under way and in planning that will change this.

Okay, my next set of Kelowna Skyline pics!

And my personal favorite the view through sage from Knox Mountain!

I know Vancouver and Halifax are often thrown around for best settings but I actually really love Kelowna's natural setting.

All my pics.

It certainly isn't Monaco, that's for sure.

That yellowish crane with the flat top will be raised eventually (Parkland at the Common). That building will be 25 floors, and a second 23 storey tower next door (2032 Robie) is going through the approval process.

The HRM website and planning materials sometimes leave a lot to be desired. They have a 2032 Robie page with some blurry scanned black and white printouts in PDF form. In any case, Robie is eventually going to be a major corridor with a lot of highrise buildings on it. The buildings in the rear in the shot above are along Robie.

Two waterfront beauty shots from the Islands by kotsy.

kotsy

Final 240 metre height of TD (160 Front W u/c) will be about 2/3rds the way up its crane boom (the Ritz to the right of the CN Tower is 212m).

I wish the Chateau Lacombe (barber pole) would re-clad it’s “cap”. I think black would look ok.
