I think he's referring to the side street locations (EG: Central St or Northern St) where there's a lot of parked campers, garbage, graffitti and older warehouses and offices that are in poor condition.

None of those buildings appear to be falling down, I didn't see a single tent or camper van, and there are plenty of nice vehicles parked on the streets indicating that those buildings are likely well-used.

If this is the standard for "dilapidated" and "sketchy" everyone needs to get out more.

There's a guy at Terminal and Quebec who likes to panhandle in stopped traffic, and a few more at Terminal and Main who don't understand how signals work. Other than that, it's hardly a bad part of town.

Isn't there a homeless shelter right around there. I also know the condo towers at Citygate have had lots of issues with homeless/break-ins.

This works better for you?

Or maybe you would like to see used needles, condoms, —, and other filth, or smell the foul aroma of the surroundings before you are convinced?

There are dozens of us! Dozens!

Walked through OV Square just yesterday looking for a gelato place - clean as a whistle.
