Halifax and Victoria seem to have similar skylines in my mind?

Funny how the Halifax town clock on Citadel Hill looks tiny in that shot.

Halifax-Victoria reminds me of Montreal-Vancouver, as far as skyline and urban fabric go.

Yes it's funny because on the ground the clock seems to have this monumental air in the way it loom over the city mainly due to be being higher than the surrounding streets. But it really is a small, fairly modest structure.

I'd say that's fairly accurate in terms of the level of similarity.

I think this would qualify for this thread, even if the image is taken within a skyline. The building site in front is for a 38 floor addition to an existing rental building, with the white building in the background to the right being another 38 floor addition to a rental building.

Well Vancouver has more towers than Montreal now according to SSP database so ya maybe Victoria will have more towers than Halifax one day.

Montreal has twice as many on the SSP database (408 Montreal vs. 201 Vancouver)

I'm going to guess his criteria is something like 150 metres towers across the metro area given that he recently stated Burnaby will host two Edmontons and one Calgary skyline in the not too distant future.

That's a good way of putting it. Even the town clock has 41 years on Victoria's oldest building.

One of the best Montreal shots I've seen in a while. Just missing a couple REM trains and a VIA passing over the elevated rail.

Great Calgary set as well. The second and third pics in particular make the city look even bigger than the usual shots.

That last Calgary shot almost looks like Hillbrow, Johannesburg from afar.
