Actually a block away, but 2204 Walnut has been reclassified as non-contributing in the historic district and the plan now is to demolish and construct a new 10-story building there. The PHC approved the demo, but rejected the design of the new construction. Another iteration of the design will be reviewed by the Architectural Committee at their meeting this coming Tuesday.
