what I really love about Calgary's skyline is how impressively unique each of it's 4 tallest towers are ... the varying shapes really make the towers iconic.

Thanks, and you’re right. So few spots to take good pics, let alone the whole skyline. I really want to invest in a drone lol

To use the popular SSP parlance: the London (ONT) skyline does not punch above its weight.

Although to be fair, I'm sure there are a number of things to do there.

I think it did at a point, but with how much development there’s been in other cities, not so much nowadays. Heritage folks seem to be the biggest issue. I really hope the York Developments at 50 King go through

Those are great London photos. Very impressive.

I took a few photos of Victoria this evening. Driving home from the Westshores from doing estimates I noticed how clear Mt. Baker was so I pulled to the side of the road and did a quick hike up a hill to take some photos. I only uploaded one tonight. I'll probably upload the others late this week. Mt. Baker is a volcano in Washington State.

^Yeah it was exceptionally clear today. I took a shot of Baker and Vancouver from a Cypress Mountain hike today.

Nice recent skyline posts..The 4 towers in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal, Victoria and finally London. London is really under represented in here, so it was nice to see some of those skyline shots. I feel like London, ON is like a watching a SIM city game developing. A game that's far from being finished, but well underway.

London is like SimCity 2000 now, played on high speed. And KW is like SimCity 3000.

The London skyline might have the worst geographical location for a skyline. So hard to see a decent pic.

No major points of geographical interest (for example Toronto has the lake front, Hamilton has the escarpment, etc…). Now, flat can still make a skyline interesting, such as in the prairies which have limited forest cover, but London is surrounded by forests, which further hide the skyline. Now forests are nice, look at Vancouver, but you need vantage points then to help the skyline. Really a terrible mix of all attributes.

Doesn't help the buildings are ugly and stumpy with no clear skyline epicenter. The current stock to be completed in the next 2 to 3 years may change that.

I hope the Jacques Cartier Bridge is either protected or when the time comes for replacement they build something similar. I love the grit and feel it gives with the skyline in the back. Feels like NY or Philly. I don't think it would be the same with a fancy, modern cable stay or similar type bridge.
