They just redid that intersection when they did Granville street. They had originally planned on it but decided against due to the close proximity of the gas station and the presence of a pond on the opposite side of the road. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t but I think they did enough improvements to the intersection to make a difference.

So there will be well over 30 once the new ones are done.

There are enough roundabouts on the books to push it over 40 very soon. (Vouge optical, Stratford TCH, Victoria Cross and/or Grafton Street)

Tremploy training centre in Charlottetown to help Islanders with intellectual disabilities

The Guardian

Tremploy has launched a $1-million capital campaign to help build a new $9.5-million training centre to offer vocational training and support for Islanders with intellectual disabilities. A sod-turning event marked the official launch of the effort to build the new centre on Regis Duffy Drive in the Bio Commons in Charlottetown..........

Anyone know if this has opened yet? Visiting the island in a few weeks and really wanted to try it out.
Nope hasn't started yet.. I never heard of it either. I wonder when they move Wendys and Tim's if it will go in that location. But by the looks of the map it will go in the end of the Irving. There is no room between the A&W and the Irving

It's been a long time since we've seen a tower crane in Charlottetown! Looks like it will be a long time before we
see one too.
The IRAC appeals against Porthouse and the Haviland from NIMBYS, and city halls reluctance to support development and developers in general, has seen a huge absense downtown of people. It has been noticed! Without the tourists it would be a ghost town. Developments would increase people in the downtown and help businesses survive.
Don't hold your breath!

He is the only flavour available that will touch the 500 lot. No developer will bother because of all the opposition against
them. Blame city hall for that one. At least APM has the guts to be persistent. Just my take on it.

If PEI grows at the same rate as it did between 2016 and 2021 (+8% growth in 5 years), PEI will hit 200,000 by 2030.
Now the Q2 2022 estimate from Stats Canada is 167k, which can't be right since the 2021 Census was 154k. But no matter how you look at it, we are growing pretty fast.

Charlottetown, Stratford, and Cornwall combined are now home to 56k people.
