Great shots (here and in the other thread)! Really highlights the amount of greenery in the city.

That parking lot in front of the Joe Howe Superstore is going to look really out of place soon. Would be a prime spot to redevelop & turn into a neighbourhood, like Crombie has proposed up on Lacewood & Dunbrack.

Very cool! The footprint on this thing is massive given what was previously there. Quite the transformation this will bring!

Drove past this site today for the first time in months. It is indeed a huge footprint and now that it is a few floors up, it really looms over the street. Interesting design details on the end where floorplates appear partially cantilevered over the edge.

The crane was removed a couple of weeks ago.

This project seems to have stalled out as of the past few months, I rarely see workers on site and when I do, it's just a couple tinkering on windows/interior.

Has the developer moved resources to another site? This same group did The Elevation on Robie and that seemingly took forever as well.

I'm not sure about moving resources but I do know they were facing a number of lawsuits for the Elevation. Some from the city and some from tenants I believe.

Transformative! This area used to be extremely sketchy. It now has some coherence as an urban fabric.

I don't love the DQ street interaction and the area is still too car centric, but it's really now evolving into a proper urban landscape. Kudos to the developers that are making this part of Halifax objectively better.
