It’s been a whole five years since Dallas-based developers Genesis Real Estate Group purchased the 2.3-acre property at 80 Red River Street on the western edge of the Rainey Street District, but it seems the developer’s plans for a tower at this site are finally kicking into gear, with Genesis and its development partners PGIM Real Estate announcing earlier this week that construction financing for the 50-story, 423-unit apartment tower project known as the Travis is officially secured.
Regarding the second tower -- I've never been entirely clear how it's supposed to work with the Travis itself. The Travis has always been the first half of the project to rise, but . . . does Tower #2 share the podium? Or will it have its own podium extension? Or . . . ? Just not sure how it's supposed to work.

It'll probably float just above the ground a la Avatar.
Probably doesn't count as U/C but there is some concrete poured with rebar sticking out along the northern edge of the site where it abuts the 98 RR site. Maybe a retaining wall of some sort:

Can't believe I had to go to page 2 to find the thread for a nearly 600 ft tower. The Travis seems to be humming along with some massive square columns being formed.
