I mean it's an interesting concept when the architecture is adapted into a piano but this just looks like a tacky cluster****

OSO’s architects have covered the instrument with a staggering 450 100mm x 100mm mirrors, each 1mm thick. These sit on 2.5mm steel rods which vary in length up to 300mm, and point in varying directions. The overall effect is much like that of a cloud.

The Cloud Fazioli is covered with 450 square mirrors on all sidesThe mirrors represent the large square panels of the building and, like the tower, the piano’s appearance changes dramatically depending on the angle viewed.

Totally. Could it be more sterile?? Are those plants plastic?

It seems like one or two trees along Homer and one next to that rotunda are already dead. Once the parking lot next door gets redeveloped it'll be interesting to see how the vines/trees handle the lack of sunlight.

this city is infuriating.

constantly "we planted X trees" "developers planted X trees" but then within a few years they're all dead and never replaced!!! and since no one follows up no one knows/cares. its terrible.

2 or 3 are definitely dead. One more on its way there.
