While it doesn't guarantee "shovels in the ground" tomorrow ... don't forget the 2 dozen projects I posted last week that have moved from proposal to now "recommended for approval", which is a step in the right direction.

That batch includes a half a dozen at/near/above the 200 metre benchmark including the Union Park supertall @ 303m.

So I'm betting a few more 'scrapers will start in the next couple of years for sure.

As to your original comment "I wonder what big proposal will be the next to break ground" ... even though there's a fair bit of COVID-induced doom and gloom in the office sector (and we already have 2 more bank/office towers u/c)... I still have an inkling that the HPA-designed 11 Bay @ 270 metres will be the next big (Amazon rumour-fuelled?) headline for the city.
