Another off-topic thought. My family and I were talking recently about large, nice gas stations with a certain furry animal with a goofy tail as a mascot. The question came up, and it's a good one: Why is there not one just north of Georgetown capturing all of the traffic from I-35 and 130?

I know there's one in Temple, but I'm surprised that there aren't more between Austin and DFW beyond that one.

I say this as someone who would love to see trains and other forms of mass transit increase between metros, but for now, I drive a mini-van for family trips.
