My favourite hotel experiences in other cities were never in downtowns but in the urban neighbourhoods surrounding downtowns.

I agree, a boutique hotel at one of the corner lots on Osborne and Stradbrook would be amazing. A regular banner hotel would also maybe work as part of a larger development by the burger king and Osborne Station. It'd be so nice to bookend Corydon with something substantial-ish and as a visitor it'd be nice to either stroll down Osborne or Corydon, or go check out some of the nice restaurants in South Osborne.
