If we could have a national indigenous museum, the impacts of colonialism (which impacted everybody in some way or another) could be presented in that museum. I would also hope that one of the Residential Schools is preserved as a solemn memorial.

An indigenous museum at LeBreton Flats or Victoria Island, or a change in vocation of the Civilization/History museum to focus solely on first nations (with a new Canadian History Museum built elsewhere) would be good.
I agree, the residential schools should be preserved, as Europe did with the concentration camps.
